What is one word or phrase that defines BBC’s outlook for 2026?
Loaded with opportunities.
How does industry-wide collaboration support your business goals and growth?
You can’t be successful alone; industry collaboration is critical to growth in terms of strategic partnerships. It is also critical to stay on top of global macro-economic challenges our businesses face now more than ever.
BBC began as a children’s footwear powerhouse under Bob Campbell and has since expanded into adult footwear, major licenses, and acquisitions. At your 50th anniversary and this Trailblazing moment – what iconic product launch or partnership deserves an extra bright spotlight?
Our longstanding partnerships are something we are very proud of and that we celebrate; whether it be with licensing partners like Ralph Lauren (where we've partnered for 20+ years) or our factory partners who again we share decades of work together. Most recently we acquired the licensing rights to Off White giving us entry into the Lux market. There's more to come!
BBC’s approach to the business centers on integrity and a “family-first” approach. How do you scale trusted relationships while advancing innovation and meeting today’s customer?
Our core values are: Integrity, Communication, Community, Respect, Passion, and we believe that every decision from thinking about customers, partners, and even innovation has to be put through these filters. Once you learn to do this, it makes strategic decision making much clearer.
Looking ahead, what capabilities and mindsets do you believe will matter most for BBC over the next decade?
Being open to
Change and Adapting quickly, not leaning so much on prior successes but really understanding where the consumer will be and getting there before the consumer gets there. We are focused on increased efficiencies and have an unwavering mentality about the company’s standards.
Giving back has been integral to BBC’s more than 50 years in the footwear business. How is your commitment to supporting those in need embedded into BBC’s corporate structure?
We were always taught the importance of giving back by our founder. Whether it is time, money, support to rising professionals; whatever it is, giving back is at the core of who we are and is addressed most in our “Community” core value.
