AAFA considers the health and wellness of all those onsite at the American Image Awards as a top priority. Our Health & Safety Hub is a living document that will continue to evolve as the event approaches. We will seek the latest health guidance from local authorities, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) to determine the best precautions to take to further enhance the onsite experience and promote wellness at the event. Additionally, we will follow all local government and venue guidelines. Please note the measures below that we will be following to ensure everyone's safety regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The City of New York has adopted a “Key to NYC Pass” program which mandates guests above age 12 entering an indoor entertainment facility to provide proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO along with a government issued photo identification. The same requirements are applicable to staff of the venue and hired outside vendors. Production of any of the following will be sufficient:

  • Photo or hard copy of CDC vaccination card
  • NYC COVID Safe App
  • NYS Excelsior Pass
  • Photo or hard copy of official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside of the US

In Partnership with the Venue Guidelines, we will be providing: 

  • Responsible food and beverage service, distanced seating options, and barriers if/when appropriate. 
  • Appropriate signage to reinforce wellness reminders.
