AAFA is proud to team with the Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation for the third consecutive year as our exclusive beneficiary, allowing us to help fund the future of our industry and the development of invaluable philanthropic programs.  

The CFDA Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to raise funds for charity and industry activities. Through innovative partnerships with brands, retailers, and CFDA designers, the Foundation is able to leverage fashion and effectively generate awareness and funds for these charitable causes.

This past April, AAFA celebrated its 41st annual American Image Awards!

Over the years, AAFA's American Image Awards has adjusted to the time and tone of American fashion.

In 2015, AAFA invited word-renowned artist Ruben Toledo to create a new award statuette. Toledo’s creation, featuring six different metal finishes, showcases AAFA’s global mission and represents all facets of the industry.
